At age 13, Renee bought his first camera off the TV shop while watching The Bold and the Beautiful. A few years later he traded four cases of beer for a Soviet-made Zenit. He hasn’t stopped shooting since.
His portraits have appeared in publications like the New York Times, Brèves magazine (France), Eclectic (Russia), and many international and European cinema magazines. He’s also worked for international clients like Google, Wire, and Simple Session.
Renee has photographed trains while hanging out a car window, crawled days in the mud to document military maneuvers, and made portraits of naked people in minus 25 degree temperatures. He’s probably up for your strange assignment, too.
